Low Spicejet has increased flights to Kabul. From February 8 there will be 5 days Delhi-Kabul flights. Presently the flight is for 3 days in a week. It is the only private Indian carrier to fly to Afghanistan. In order to meet the additional demands the budget airline has added flights on the domestic side.

Seating capacity has also increased by the airline on some domestic routes. The undertaking aircraft has been upgraded from Bombardier Q400.

It has a seating capacity of 78 seats to Boeing 737 and can accommodate 186 passengers. On routes of Delhi-Varanasi and Delhi-Dehradun, these services would be operational for 6 days a week.

Shilpa Bhatia, the senior VP of Spicejet said that they are looking for ways to improve the network capacity so that the best services could be provided to the customers.
