According to a social media posting by the company’s cofounder, Liuan Jiang xiaomi’s Mi5 smartphone will launched some time after the Chinese New Year in February.
Jiang also confirmed that the Mi5 will be powered by q Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 as expected. Fans were disappointed with Xiaomi in now, when the Chinese Smartphone maker unveiled a slew of new devices.
Xiaomi is now one of the top fine smartphone makers in China. Other rivals of Xiaomi include Apple, Samsung. According to reports the phone will feature a 16 MP camera and fingerprint sensing technology.
