The Samajwadi party said that the current debate in the Parliament on rising intolerance in the country is hurting the image of the country, by adding that India is the most tolerant country in the world.
The Rajya Sabha will recommence conversation on ‘Commitment to Constitution’ while the Lok Sabha will talk about the issues related to fanaticism (Intolerance) in the country today during the Winter Session of the Parliament.
According to view of Ram Gopal Yadav,”The more the matter of intolerance is being debated, the more it is hurting the country. India is the most intolerant country in the world. Blowing definite issues out of proportion is not right.”
The rising intolerance has become a controversial issue in the recent times with some prominent writers, poets, actors and filmmakers returning their awards as a protest.
