There is no way anyone can trace back their lineage or their personality based on the shape and size of their feet. Basic biology will reveal that feet, like palms, are highly individualized organs. No two pairs can be the same. However we should take a look at the types of feet the article featured.

Roman Feet: These type of feet have the first three toes of the same size, while the last two are differently sized. It is said that roman emperors used to possess such build of feet. However most roman statues do not depict this. That may be in part due to the Roman’s habit of imitating the Greek culture to a T.

Greek Feet: These type of feet are depicted in Greek statues and some Roman statues as well for the reason stated above. Here, the second toe is the longest among all toes. This was a common feature in some of the Greek population. However, there is no proof that links this feet shape to a Greek lineage.

Germanic Feet: These type of feet feature one big toe, longer than the four toes of the same size.

Celtic Feet: Now this type of feet is said to be a mix of Greek Feet and Germanic Feet. There’s one big toe, longer second toe and the other descending in size.
However, it must be noted that there is no single Celtic genetic group. That’s because the regions of the UK which have Celtic origins like Cornwall, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are genetically different from each other.

This is due to the fact that the areas of the United Kingdom like Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and Northern Ireland Celtic origins which have Celtic origins differ from each other genetically.

shape of your feet

However astounding it may be that the shape of foot can reveal one’s lineage, it must be noted that science or logic does not support this argument.

The arch of your feet helps you walk. The size of the arch can reveal a lot of things about your body. If your arch is too high or not high enough, it’s more likely that you’ll overuse certain parts of your foot, and overuse can lead to injuries. You can refer to resources available online to find the size of your feet or you can take a wet print of you feet to get the idea.

Pronation and supination refer to the side-to-side motions your foot carries out as you move. Pronation refers to an inward roll and supination refers to an outward roll. Low arches commonly cause overpronation, while high arches typically cause oversupination. These can eventually injure the ankle, iliotibial band, or Achilles tendons. The extra stress can also cause plantar fasciitis.

These are basic facts about your feet. However, you should research properly on the matter as your feet are a vital part of your body.
