The Hyderabad University has been in the limelight for a few months now because of several of reasons. The suicide of Rohith Vemula had caused a lot of protests at the university campus.
The protests have erupted again on campus and around 70 students have been arrested. The students had broken the campus gate in an attempt to reach the Appa Rao’s office (the Vice Chancellor).
The students want the VC to be sacked and also that he should not be a part of the meetings that are being held as they will make some important decisions for the university.
