With bloodletting at Germany’s industrial Icon Volkswagen going on in the aftermath of the ‘Dieselgate’ scandal which has made a crippling hit on the company, the company has roped in Porsche’s Matthias Mueller to come and save the day.
The bloodletting began with the sacking of Martin Winterkorn, under whose watch the scandal occurred. Many more executives are also being shown the door.
Mueller who was till now driving in the fast lane with Porsche, will have to now negotiate a minefield with existing and new litigation pertaining to the scandal.
