Supermoon Eclipse

Supermoon is a phenomenon when during a lunar eclipse, a full moon is at it’s closest orbital point to Earth. Last seen in 1982, the event is being seen this weekend.




Most visible in North America, though the Supermoon will be visible in some other parts of the World too, the ‘moon’ will next appear in 2033.

The complete eclispe, when the moon appears a bloody red, due to bending of Sun’s light by Earth’s atmosphere will be from 10:11 P.M. to 11:23 P.M., Eastern Daylight Time, U.S.A., according to U.S. space agency NASA.
