Jaya Sawant, Rakhi Sawant’s mother, died on January 28, 2023, after battling with brain tumour and cancer. She had been undergoing treatment for the past few years. Her last rites were held in Mumbai’s Municipal Christian cemetery in Oshiwara. Apart from family members, several celebs also attended Sawant mother’s last rites.

Is Rakhi faking emotions?

Rakhi has always been vocal about her emotions. She shares her happiness, grief, worries and every other emotion with her Instagram family as well as with media. The actress has shared an emotional post on her Instagram and captioned it in Hindi, “Aaj meri maa ka haat sar se uth gaya or mere pass khone ke liye kuch nahi bacha. I love you, MAA. Aap ke bina kuch nahi raha, ab kaun meri pukar sunega or kaun mujhe gale lagayega maa. Ab mai kya karu… kaha jauuuu… I miss you, Aai“. In the video, Rakhi is seen sitting on the floor, inside a hospital room with her mother, crying inconsolably.

However, condolences soon turned into trolls as netizens noticed Rakhi Sawant walking out wearing makeup soon after her mother’s demise. Also, trollers pointed at her nail paint which perfectly matched her white outfit worn by the actress while she was paying final respect to her mother.

An Instagram user wrote, “How can someone manage to blow up makeup when someone is not anymore?”

Another wrote, “Maa mar gyi h aur beti full Makeup k sath emotional wah (Mother has died and daughter is ready with full makeup, emotional bravo).”

Others went into details to notice her nails, “Kal nail paint blue thi …today it’s white ……in this hour of grief, she has the time n heart to do this”, wrote a user on social media.
