Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar said that Liquor will be banned in the state from April 1, 2016, This is the first major step Nitish Kumar has taken after becoming the CM of Bihar for the fifth time.
“We want to bring new policies to ban liquor from next year. We want to implement this from April 1, 2016. The money will be used for education, women empowerment which will help us to achieve higher level of development,” Kumar said these words, while addressing a function on the occasion of anti Liquor day.
