Here is all you should know about Xiaomi Mi6

Xiaomi officially announced the launch date of Xiaomi Mi6 as April 19th. According to reports, Xiaomi is expected to launch Xiaomi Mi6 Plus along with Xiaomi Mi6, featuring a larger screen at the event. Specifications, features and prices of the two upcoming Xiaomi smartphones have been leaked out online many times earlier.

“You waited for 203 days, we waited for seven years”, the teaser comes with this tagline and it has a backdrop of a cityscape at the beak of dawn. The company didn’t unveil much about the device in its teaser, except for recapitulating the Xiaomi Mi launch date.

The official price and availability details will be revealed in Beijing at the University of Technology Gymnasium on 19th April.

Xiaomi Mi6 runs on the latest android platform v7.1.1 and powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. This smartphone comes with 5.1 inches touch screen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a 441 pixels per inch. It comes with 64 GB or 128 GB internal storage, it does not have a card slot for external storage.

Xiaomi Mi6 has a 12 MP rear camera with 4K video recording and 8 MP front camera with 4K recording too. It is expected to come with Qualcomm’s Quick charge 4.0 technology for fast charging support.

Xiaomi Mi6 is expected to launch in two variants: 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage priced at roughly Rs. 20,500 and the other one 4 GB with 128 GB storage priced at roughly Rs. 24,300 respectively. On the other hand, Xiaomi Mi6 Plus is expected to come with three variants: 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage priced at roughly Rs. 25,000, 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage priced at roughly Rs. 28,990, and 6 GB with 256 GB storage priced at roughly Rs. 34,600.

It has Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, NFC, Bluetooth, and GPS connectivity. The smartphone is expected to come with 4000mAh non-removable battery.

Xiaomi Mi6 is expected to come in several colors. (Silver, Gray, Gold, Rose Gold)
