With this features the twitter users have no need to switch apps to go live. While composing a tweet, users will have an option to go live with Periscope, with additional options to add a picture, video etc.

This is also considered as a good technique to grab the non-users.

Earlier twitter, use to provide ‘Go Live’ button for Periscope only to the users of iOS app on an iPhone 6s plus. But now it has been made available across Android iOS users.

Facebook’s live video feature has already garnered enough appreciation from people, with over 1 billion plus users.

Twitter has been struggling with engagement and has been also trying to boost the users.

Now, with the Periscope button with twitter’s main app, it wants to make sure that they do not lose momentum on live video to Facebook.
