Truecaller partners with Intex

Trucaller hit the market in 2009 and since then it has developed a customer base of over 100 million in India, This app allows people to identify unknown numbers and also block numbers.

Truecaller has now partnered with Intex, Technologies. Intex was introduced in 1996 and it makes smartphones, consumer durables and IT Accessories.

The partnership will provide us with a new experience of a phone directory and caller ID app. In the past, Truecaller had partnered with Microsoft, Tata DoCoMo, and Twitter also.

The new Intex Aqua Young is for 5,090 ($78) and it will now incorporate the Truecaller and Truedialer applications. This will enable the users to identify more than 2 billion numbers on incoming and outgoing calls and also block unwanted calls or hidden numbers, as well as protect themselves from known spammers with a community-built database, to increase touch points with consumers.
