In a first, Sony has announced the launch of its Virtual Reality headsets project in October this year and experts are already predicting it might bring a revolution in the mass market.
Priced at $399 in the US and £349 in the UK, the VR headset will work along Sony’s PlayStation 4 console.
The device will fit over the player’s head featuring a high definition screen and a motion tracking technology that will allow players to explore computer generated content.
The pricing was revealed at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco on Tuesday which makes this VR headset the cheapest and best bet in the VR market currently.
