According to a report, India’s maiden integrated and dedicated climate cell in a civic body will be soon set up at Kolkata Municipal Corporation along with a dedicated web portal and mobile app to give out information to citizens on eco- friendly measures ad disaster alerts.
Notably, The mobile app will be the first – of – its –Kind in the country and will help the citizens to work on various eco- friendly measures and will give out alerts on during disasters.
The Climate Change Cell initiative is expected to help citizens at various steps at the individual as well as the collective level.
