Legendary actor Robin Williams passes away

Not that we expected him to be an immortal but his personality and his work did make him one. Known for his contagious grin and a vibrant personality, its only all the more surprising that the death news of the Oscar winning actor Robin Williams, announces a suspected suicide, especially, for someone who would teach life positive lessons to people around him. He was indeed one of the most vivacious, mesmerizing and free spirited personalities when it came to the showbiz. His stand-up comedy is well talked about and his acting career did take a steep rise, thanks to all the good humored movies, which he acted in. A favorite with audiences of all age groups from around the world, Williams had a charisma that would entice all around him.

Undoubtedly, Mrs. Doubtfire has been the most popular of William’s movies till date along with some more of his finer works including, Jumaji, Flubber, Dead Poets Society, Happy Feet and many more. His foray into the world of showbiz started in the year 1978 with a television series called the Happy Days where he played the role of an alien Mork and it went on to become such a hit that a special sequel series of the same show was created only to accommodate Williams’ talent for humor called Mork and Mindy. But that was just the beginning.

William with his talent for good humor, wittiness, positive attitude and the knack for right roles soon started ruling the hearts of Americans and people around the world with his stand-up comedy. He was indeed power packed when it came to talent for which he even won accolades for his voice which he lent to movies like Aladdin and Good morning Vietnam.

The list of awards that he won is endless, Star Guild Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Academy Awards and of course the Oscar Award. The man, who made a smile flash through millions of faces and brought happiness to many a sad ones called it quits, owing to the phase of depression that he was going through.
