The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has said that women in today’s era have made their mark in various fields which includes politics as well, and have also shown exemplary determination and the power of analysis to make correct decisions.

The President has received a book written by Prem Ahluwalia titled ‘India’s Most Powerful Women’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mukherjee congratulated the author for recognizing the contribution of women in India.
The president hoped that this book inspires every young mind to move towards a progressive society. He also finds that the book would serve as a good source of research for the analysts and researchers.
