Due to heavy rain in the south eastern parts of Rajasthan normal life has been affected severely.
36 villages in Baran district are currently facing flood like situation. The villages have even been cut off from the nearby connecting areas.
The Indian Army has been called in to help and rescue the people from the affected villages.

Alwar district is also facing the flood situation due to continuous rain, where around 10 villages have been cut off from the nearby areas.
The Chambal River in Dhoulpur district is flowing above the danger mark.
The nearby areas have been alerted due to this.
