Government will soon roll out Kerosene Subsidy!

The union government has announced to launch Direct Benefit Transfer for Kerosene subsidy, where users will get financial support directly in their banks accounts but they will buy it on the market rate.

The government has announced to bring this in effect from April 1st, 2016. According to reports, the cash subsidy which will be paid to consumers would be equivalent to the difference between current PDS price of about Rs. 12 and market rate of Rs 43 per litre.

Centre will also further consult the state government before making the scheme operational, which will reviewed after three months.
