Richard Neville dies at 74

Richard Neville was an Australian author who was popular for his books and also for being the co-founder of Oz (Magazine).

Neville died on Sunday night at his home in northern New South Wales and is survived by his wife Julie and two daughters Lucy and Angelica.

His wife posted on Facebook- “Our wonderful Richard has gone on to his next adventure. He died tonight in Byron Bay surrounded by all of us –Julie, Lucy, Angelica and Ricardo.”

Neville along with other co-founders of Oz (Martin Sharp and Richard Walsh) were a major part of the counterculture in Australia.
