The special day to celebrate the beverage was founded in the year 2007 in California.  Seasons may come and go, but nothing can beat the pleasure of having a cold beer with your friends and family. Interestingly, Beer is one of the most popular and oldest alcoholic drinks all across the globe. It all started in the year 2007 when a man named Jesse Avshalomov decided that beer and its makers deserved a day of honor. Earlier, it was celebrated on August 5.

Later, he did a poll and decided that the first Friday of August will be celebrated as International Beer Day as Friday marks the beginning of a weekend.  Notably, this day is celebrated for three reasons to the day – to gather friends and family to celebrate the people who brew and serve it; to celebrate the beer of all nations and cultures.  There are different ways to celebrate this day with your loved ones. Given the situation of the Pandemic, one should be celebrating this day indoors.
