5 tips to fight the battle of changing weather and defeating viral fever

As the winter season bids, goodbye and spring welcome us to more pleasant conditions, sudden weather change might affect your body. The body had grown a habit of warm clothes and extreme weather conditions of the outside for the last three months and now, it has to let go off those extra pounds of clothes. Your skin would be more vulnerable to sunlight now. To fight these changes and keep a check on your health, we have brought to you 5 tips that will help you to cope up with changing weather.

1. Keep a tab on time

The biggest difference when winter fades away and spring makes way is- sun sets late. It becomes difficult to cope with the change in daylight. The “circadian” clock in you is responsible for telling your body when it is time to sleep and when should you awake. It revolves around predictable patterns of darkness and light. Any abrupt changes can change your usual pattern and it can disrupt the balance.

2. Watch out for viral fever and joint pains

Doctors believe that changes in barometric pressure and humidity can affect your body. The sudden change in weather might end up putting you on a bed with viral fever or cough. You might think that winter is gone, and you shouldn’t wear bulky winter clothes, but you are actually falling into the trap of weather’s plan. So, don’t fall into the trap and carry your jacket when heading outside, especially in mornings and evenings.

3. Eat  and Drink according to season

It is vital to keep a check on your diet in the changing weather. While eating jaggery, egg yolks, ginger, spices and oil couldn’t hurt your stomach but these things can lead to pimples and digestion problems in spring or summer. Do include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet. In winters, we tend to not drink water because we are too lazy to get out from blankets. But once the winter season is over, you should be drinking at least 2-3 litres of water.
