Eid 2023: Eid Mubarak to all, Spread Peace and Happiness!

The holy month of Ramadan is celebrated all across the world with great enthusiasm. Muslims take part in a period of fasting, in which they don’t eat or drink from dawn to sunset for a month. During this month, Muslims devote themselves to Allah and concentrate on their faith. Finally, the Pak month has come to an end, and Eid 2023 will be celebrated on April 22, 2023.

This is the Meethi Eid and it is celebrated every year on the first day of Shawaal, the month of Islamic calendar. On this Eid, Muslims open fast and feast together with their family and friends. During this period, Muslims also offer special prayers.  This year Eid will be celebrated on April 22 and according to the central government it is a gazetted holiday and celebration will be based on the sighting of the moon.  The date of the festival does not remain the same every year. It keeps changing. For Muslims, the new month begins only after sighting of the crescent moon when the religious authorities confirm it.
