As the Delhi High Court gave its verdict today on the Sushil Kumar vs Narsingh Yadav case, it crushed the dreams of Kumar.
According to the verdict, Kumar will not be able to compete in the Rio Olympics. The Court rejected Kumar’s plea to have a trail against Yadav to decide who gets to go for the 74kgs category in boxing to Rio.

Notably, the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), before the verdict had shown its inclination towards sending Yadav for Rio.
WFI had conducted trails for the same, but Kumar had missed it because of a shoulder injury and thus, had made the plea.
