Microsoft enters the business of Marijuana

The famous technology company, Microsoft has taken a leap this time by
entering the business of Marijuana.

The company has announced a

“partnership to begin offering software that tracks marijuana plants

from seed to sale” as reported by Times Of India.

This new software
will help the states in which marijuana is legal to keep a check on
commerce and sales of marijuana.

Microsoft has tied hands with a
start-up called Kind for the same.
“Kind agreed that Azure Government is the only cloud platform designed
to meet government standards for the closely regulated cannabis
compliance programs and we look forward to working together to help
our government customers launch successful regulatory programs,” said
Kimberly Nelson, Executive director, Microsoft’s state and local
government solutions division.
