For 12 months, Marlon Samuels would be ban from bowling

For the next 12 months, West Indian all rounder Marlon Samuels banned from bowling in international cricket after reported for suspected action.

Samuels has been banned due to his bowling action three times in his career. In 2013, Samuels was banned from bowling quicker deliveries.

Samuels had gone to Brisbane to undergo an independent assessment that proved that his elbow exceeded the allowed limit of 15 degrees, after reported of suspected action.

Bowlers are given a time of 14 days BT the ICC before the board comes to with the final verdict on the report, once reported for their action.

As the report constitute the player’s second suspension within a two year period, he is now automatically suspended from bowling in international cricket for 12 months periods.
