Spoon Concern Of Sudha Murty trends on Twitter as she carries her own food while traveling abroad to avoid cross-contamination.

Sudha Murty, the well-known author and philanthropist, became a Twitter trend after a viral YouTube interview where she shared her food preferences. She mentioned being a pure vegetarian and carrying her own food due to her concern about using the same spoon for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Sudha expressed her fear of cross-contamination and hence, prefers to eat at vegetarian restaurants or brings her own ready-to-eat food like poha.

Twitter users jokingly compared her concern to UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s photo with meat, playfully suggesting whether he maintains separate spoons for his vegetarian mother-in-law, Sudha Murty.

She admitted to basic cooking knowledge, preparing dishes like parota, dal, subzi, rice, and sambar, avoiding hotel food due to her preference for home-cooked meals. Her focus on her career outside of home led to her not learning specialized cooking techniques.
