The take of PM Modi and Amit Shah on  I.N.D.I.A has become viral and the Opposition is offended by what PM Modi had to say. 

Amit Shah says that I.N.D.I.A is an “old product with a new label” and says that people are wise enough to see the propaganda. 

What did PM Modi say?

He said, “East India Company, PFI, Indian Mujaheddin also using India in their name. Chehre par chehre laga lete hai log…From the Opposition’s conduct, it seems that they have decided to remain in the Opposition. We have to work in the interest of the public and move forward.”

What did Amit Shah say about I.N.D.I.A.?

He tweeted- “In a bid to get rid of its hounding past, the opposition alliance has changed its nomenclature. But merely changing the name to I.N.D.I.A. will not erase their past deeds from public memory. The people of our country are wise enough to see through this propaganda and will treat this old product with a new label with the same disapproval.”

The opposition parties have united to form Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance or  I.N.D.I.A. in order to fight the ruling Modi government in the 2024 polls. This alliance wants to break the winning streak of Modi and also become a platform for all opposition parties to unite and come together for accomplishing this feat.
