Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Train, Fire: Terrible Incident, Passengers Safe; Quick Response Prevents Casualties

In the latest incident involving the Vande Bharat train, fire broke out in the battery box of one coach on the Bhopal-Delhi route this morning. Fortunately, all passengers are safe, and no injuries have been reported. The incident occurred at Kurwai Kethora station in Madhya Pradesh around 8 am.

Train Fire Contained, Prompt Response:

Visuals from the scene showed smoke emanating from near the train’s wheels, but the fire brigade responded promptly and extinguished the flames. Following this, a thorough examination of the train began. Fortunately, the fire was contained within the battery box.

Train to Resume Journey After Examination:

Despite the incident, railway officials confirmed that the train will continue its journey to Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin station once the technical examination is completed.

Animal Collisions, Stone Attacks:

It’s worth noting that the Vande Bharat train has faced previous issues, such as collisions with animals, with 68 such cases reported between June and December in the past year, as stated by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in response to parliament. Additionally, the train has also been in the news for being targeted with stone-throwing incidents.
