Rajasthan Accident:Truck Collides with Bus, 11 Dead and 12 injured

A tragic Rajasthan accident resulted in 11 fatalities and 12 injuries when a truck collided with a stranded bus. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot offered condolences and wished for the injured's swift recovery.

Bharatpur: A tragic accident on a Rajasthan highway has claimed the lives of 11 individuals and left 12 others injured. The incident occurred when a truck collided with a bus travelling from Pushkar, Rajasthan, to Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, around 4.30 a.m. The bus had broken down on a bridge, with some passengers and the driver standing behind it when the speeding truck struck. 

Tragic Bus-Truck Collision

The bus had stopped due to running out of fuel on the Antra flyover in the Lakhanpur area. Unfortunately, five men and six women lost their lives at the scene. The Superintendent of Police, Mridul Kachawa, explained that the bus was undergoing repairs on the highway when the collision happened. Police have initiated an investigation into the accident.

CM Ashok Gehlot Offers Condolences

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed condolences to the victims’ families, describing the incident as extremely sad and noting that the injured have been hospitalized. He prayed for the peace of the deceased souls and a speedy recovery for the injured.
