A Learjet 45 aircraft with registration VT-DBL, operated by VSR Ventures, encountered a runway excursion incident while landing on runway 27 at Mumbai airport during a flight from Visakhapatnam to Mumbai. The incident occurred at 5:08 p.m. and was promptly reported by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the 6 passengers and 2 crew members on board. 

Runway Incident Update

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed these details. Runway operations were briefly halted but later resumed, although there have been reports of flight delays. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has deployed its airside team to assist with onsite clearance, as stated by a CSMIA spokesperson.
