Man’s Suspicions Lead to Tragic Delhi Crime: Wife Stabbed to Death in Jafrabad; 11-Year-Old Daughter Injured in Attempted Rescue, Investigation Underway
New Delhi: On Monday, a tragic incident unfolded in Jafrabad, northeast Delhi, as a 36-year-old man named Sajid allegedly stabbed his 32-year-old wife to death.She was cheating on him, police said. The man, identified as Sajid, has been arrested. The motive behind this gruesome act was rooted in Sajid’s suspicions of infidelity on the part of his wife. Promptly after the incident, law enforcement authorities apprehended Sajid.

Daughter Injured, Mother Killed
Heartbreakingly, the couple’s 11-year-old daughter suffered injuries while attempting to shield her mother from the brutal assault. Authorities received an emergency call at 01:06 a.m., reporting the stabbing at the family’s residence. The victim was swiftly rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, but tragically, medical professionals declared her deceased. The autopsy revealed multiple stab wounds, located on her neck, chest, and left hand, and the murder weapon, a knife, was subsequently recovered.

Sajid, formerly employed as a mobile phone repair technician, was reportedly jobless at the time of the incident. Investigations into this harrowing case are ongoing.
