Happiness is not a universal word as it does not mean the same thing to everyone, it is a very subjective term. Contrary to popular belief, higher income is not the reason for higher happiness. More experiences, instead of material possession leads to happiness, according to a study. The reasons why people are happy or what makes them happy is a subject that psychologists have always found interesting.

In today’s world, where life is so fast paced and money is everything, we have forgotten to do things that make us truly happy. Yes, there are the momentary happiness, stolen glances of doing what makes you feel good, but, that does not last.
So, everyday before you go to sleep, ask yourself this question- “Was I happy today?” If an answer immediately pops to your head, then you know that you are on the right track, but, if not then it is important to find out where you are going wrong.

So, here’s a question for you- What makes you happy?
