The Atlantic states Marine Fisheries Commission reported that the stocks of lobsters have reached a record high on the whole.

However, in South New England, lobster stocks have reached the lowest levels that have ever recorded.

Though lobster populations have many reasons for their rise and fall, in this new report it has been made very clear that the reason behind the decline in the lobster population is the increasing temperature of the ocean.

The rising temperature of the water is putting the animals at extreme stress.

The oceans have been warming in recent decades, largely because of the heat trapping greenhouse gases humans have put in the atmosphere.

Due to high rise in temperature the marine animals shift themselves to more comfortable waters.
