We know that issue of farmer suicide in Karnataka is widespread and current situations have got worst in Mandya, Haveri, Tumakuru and Mysuru.
As per social cops’ analysis, Karnataka has become one of the farmer suicide hotspots in 2015. Farmers’ suicide has increased from 321 to over 600 with at least one suicide in every district.
The Karnataka government has told dept as main cause behind increasing suicides of farmers. Others factors include negative net return on some crops, farmers taking highly interest loans.
