Yes it’s true soon the famous messenger app, whatsapp will start sharing your details with Facebook. This can make you uncomfortable so here are steps to opt out of this by making changes in your account sections.
After sharing your details Facebook will show you more targeted ads if this makes you uncomfortable you need to change settings manually.
Here are steps how to do it:
If the whatsapp notify you about the update terms or services do not agree to it. Open the page and uncheck the share my whatsapp account information with Facebook.
If you have already agreed without reading then go on the three dots above, tap settings and uncheck share my account info.
