UP government today announced a major decision and allowed one day off to policemen on duty for 10 consecutive days.
According to an official release issued Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav yesterday decided to give one day off to the policemen performing duty for 10 days.

Earlier, policemen in Uttar Pradesh had no weekly or fixed offs. They had applied for the leaves and it was pending for the approval.
Notably , the decision has been taken keeping in the view that no leaves in the police department was causing stress.
