This strategic expansion beyond iPhones is in line with Foxconn’s substantial investment of USD 400 million in the Hyderabad plant, with the aim of commencing mass production by December 2024.

A reliable source has confirmed that the production of AirPods will indeed take place at the Foxconn Hyderabad facility. This step marks Apple’s intent to further strengthen its manufacturing capabilities in India, signaling a broadening of its production range.
