The legendary Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri bid his international farewell in style as the India ended their 2026 FIFA WC Qualification on a goalless manner against Kuwait. Finally, the 39-year-old Chhetri is the fourth leading goal scorer in international football with a total of 94 goals to his name.

The match against Kuwait was not the happy ending that many had dreamt of the face of Indian hockey team.
