The Piano Man, Jazz Club, Safdarjung New Delhi

Chochung Dema, is a Delhi based singer/songwriter and an aspiring storyteller, with no formal training, just sheer love for music and some self-taught guitar, she has managed to find a place for herself and is steadily becoming more active in the live music circuit in India.  She was recently in the Top 7 of India’s only English singing competition Colors Infinity ‘The Stage’. With this growing popularity, she managed to gig in the northeast extensively, playing at festivals like The Orange Music Festival and becoming a judge on a singing reality show in Arunachal Pradesh. She has been playing in pubs and music venues across the country.

The Piano Man, Gurugram (32nd Milestone) Swoon into the tunes of Aronjoy Das

Aronjoy Das has an arsenal so full of trending puns and memes, you are almost compelled to sit back, relax and ask him to “keep ‘em coming please”. But hand him a guitar and pathetic ouster Aronjoy morphs into Pop-Rock Singer-Songwriter Joy, whose music is driven by moments in his life that have moved him. Vocalist -guitarist at the immensely popular prog-rock and heavy metal bands ‘Common Thread’ and ‘Gaia’. Joy is quite a name to watch out for in the competitive DU music circuit. His music is ironically inspired by the melancholy tunes of Damien Rice, and the classic sass of Michael Jackson. Accompanied by his mahogany guitar ‘Amie’, Joy aims to write lyrics that speak less and say more. He believes that simple, honest melodies create windows through which his listeners can glimpse the feelings which inspire him to write, sing and compose from the honest depths of his heart.
