1. Man at the Corner

This was made by him when he was in New York exhibition. He was taken to New York by the United States Information services for a month to draw whatever he wants when he stopped working for The Times of India. It was then that this Water color painting was made.

This cartoon was originally done for a magazine called Cocktail in Bombay. It’s done on a yellow paper, wonderfully describing the details: the magazines that the man is looking at, the books and overall mess in the apartment.

3. Village bus

It’s one of the craziest cartoons of his, describing a Goan bus, he used to draw this scene from his childhood as he was amused by it. He has drawn himself sitting next to two big-breasted women. He was always observing things and exaggerating them.

4. Strange Heaviness

This is one of his works explaining his level of humour in the cartoons he made.

5. Mangeshi Temple

It’s a straight forward beautiful sketch of The Mangeshi Temple in Goa, describing these beautiful buildings and the symbolic significance of the Temple.

His works are timeless, and Mario Miranda will always be remembered for his creations. His cartoons do keep him alive among us.
