2. You wanted to be a choreographer right? So, how did you land up making your career in acting?

True, before entering the T.V. industry, I was working as a dance instructor. You can call it luck, Ekta Kapoor saw my video and called me for an audition and by god’s grace I got selected for the lead role.

3. As this event’s theme is women empowerment. So, what’s your take on it?

Well, I think the first step towards empowerment is financial independence. In my opinion girls should be financially independent, so that they can make good decisions for themselves.

4. How is Radhika different from Ishani?

Radhika is completely different from Ishani, Radhika never cries and Ishani keeps on crying (Laughs). Ishani is Gujarati and Radhika is a total fun loving Delhi girl. The only similarity between them is they both are simple yet gorgeous.

5. So, are you enjoying your life as Ishani?

Yes, of course. Earlier, I was only Radhika but now people recognize me as Ishani wherever I go. I feel happy about it because even if I go for regular shopping, people say ‘Dekho (see) Ishani’.

6. How is Shakti as a co –star? What kind of a bond do you people share off screen?

He is very sweet and knows his job well. Just because of him I always manage to give my best otherwise acting was never my cup of tea. Off screen, we share a strong bond too because out of our characters, we talk to each other as good friends.

7.You were in the first year of college. So, what are your future plans regarding your studies?

Definitely, I am going to complete my studies. Although I can’t attend regular classes, but yes I will pursue a correspondence course.

8. So, are you going to try in Bollywood too? Who is your favorite bollywood actor?

No, as of now I don’t have such plans but if I get a chance to work in Bollywood, I would like to share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor as he is my favorite.

9. Million of girls admire you but we are eager to know whom do you admire?

I admire my mom. She is not just a wonderful mom but an amazing human being, who has made me what I am today. It’s all because of her guidance and trust on me.

10. Any message that you would like to convey to your fans?

Please keep showering your love on me. I am thankful to all my fans for showing trust in me. In Delhi it is an altogether different experience in contrast to Mumbai where it is common for people to watch celebs, but here in Delhi people go OMG! And that’s the best feeling. So, love you all and keep watching Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi.
