India’s medal winners at Rio Olympics 2016 , PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik, firstly received the BMW by Rio Olympics ambassador Sachin Tendulkar and now these winning girls have received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, India’s highest sporting honour, from President Pranab Mukherjee today.
Heartiest congratulations girls! Dipa Karmakar, who pulled off a stunning fourth place finish in the gymnastics women’s vault final at Rio, too received the Khel Ratna along with ace shooter Jitu Rai.

Sindhu had won the silver medal in badminton women’s singles at the Games, while Malik won the bronze in the 58 kg women’s freestyle wrestling event.
Not only these girls even Fifteen other athletes received the Arjuna Award from the president, with other coaches. Well, we wish these people luck for their future. Proud of you guys!
