Meet Mumbai Cop  Amol Kamble, police personnel who is breaking the internet with his dance moves. This Mumbai police havildar is now all over social media. His groovy moves on popular Bollywood numbers are enthralling netizens. Netizens are lauding the cop for his dance moves.

Mumbai cop went  viral for sensational dance videos

The 39-year-old, Amol Kamble has become an internet sensation after his dance videos recently went viral.  His dance video on Aaya Hai Raja from the film Appu Raja went viral.

In the video, the cop is seen sharing a platform with Chinmay Khedekar, a choreographer and dancer himself.

The dance was based on the theme of an on-duty policeman, where a two-wheeler rider will be reprimanded by an officer for not wearing a mask properly. The youngster wears the mask properly but decides to tease the on-duty cop with a dance challenge. And later both of them show their dance moves.

Amol Yashwant Kamble was always passionate about dancing since childhood. He is a resident of Mahim and is not trained in Bollywood freestyle, but dancing is his hobby. Before joining the force, Kamble trained with his elder brother. His brother is a choreographer. Then, they usually dance to folk songs.

While speaking to ANI, it was rather interesting to see that Kamble credits the police department for giving him a platform to pursue his passion. Amol also performs every year at Mumbai police’s Diwali function. This platform gave him a chance to showcase his talent. In 2014, Kamble shared the stage with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.

Kamble joined the police in 2004. He strictly dances off  duty hours. Kamble says that if he finds some good offers, he will take them up. But only after getting approval from his department. But right now, he must maintain law and order. Dance is just for fun.

After he joined the police force, Kamble is actively involved in Umang. Umang is a Mumbai police event. It is an annual event where Bollywood celebrities lit up the stage with their performances to show their gratitude towards the Mumbai police department.

Kamble’s seniors and peers are praising him for his dance videos. Right now, the dancing cop is posted at Naigaon police headquarters. Amol has over 31.2k followers on Instagram and often treats fans with his new dance numbers and his Govinda style of dancing. He has over 1 lakh fans on TikTok, a short video-making platform that is banned in India now for national security reasons.

Another video on the song Dildara from the movie Ra-One also crossed five million views. His comments section is flooded with dance requests and appreciation. Some people also trolled him and advised him to concentrate more on his duty.   Breaking the stereotype, where people have always seen a cop acting strictly with them, Amol Kamble shows a soft and fun-loving side of police personnel behind the uniform.
