How to handle your children who are going through escapism?
The basic meaning of escapism is a way of distracting oneself from any unpleasant or difficult reality. Generally, the tendencies of escapism are there in all of us and it is mostly believed that through this we are protecting ourselves from facing reality. But in children, escapism sometimes comes on its own and through this, they start daydreaming which is not completely wrong. Daydreaming and escapism in children is definitely an alarming sign that your child isn’t getting the stimulation needed to focus on learning but also a sign of brilliance which can help your child’s social-emotional development and creativity.
