Khush Khabari Hai: Kadian clinches gold at world race walking championship 2022

Making India proud, Indian race walker Renu Kadian won a gold medal at the World Race Walking Championship. She broke the World Race Walking Athlete Championship World Record for walking 10km with a timing of 1hr, 10mins and 59 seconds.

She represented India at the 10km event. She was the only Indian to participate in the Master’s category.

Khush Khabari Hai: Bhopal to become the 1st 5G-enabled Smart city in India

Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal is set to become India’s 1st 5G internet service launched in select areas in the next four months providing high-speed internet.

The pilot project will start in collaboration between the Government and 1 of India’s telecom companies to conduct 5G trials.

Khush Khabari Hai: Faster software to transmit court orders in the speed phase gets launched 

Embedding digital technology in the judicial System, FASTER (Fast and Secured Transmission of Electronic Records)- a digital platform is unveiled. This intends to communicate interim orders, stay orders, bail orders etc., of the Supreme Court to authorities concerned using a secured electronic communication channel.

The FASTER System is developed on a war footing by the Registry set by the Registry in association with the National Informatics Centre. Under this initiative, 73 nodal officers have been nominated at different levels and linked through a specific Judicial Communications Network (JCL).

Khush Khabari Hai: Child-friendly corners developed in Vadodara police stations 

The Vadodara police have set up child-friendly corners in each police station to keep the children of complainants and female officers away from accused juveniles held in the lockup.

The Government of Gujarat had asked to set up these corners in police stations. These child-friendly corners are decorated like a playschool, and new toys are also made available for the children.

Khush Khabari Hai: Madhya Pradesh to launch AI course for students

Giving importance to AI, Madhya Pradesh government is set to launch an Artificial Intelligence course for students from class 8. This will be a 240-hour course. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in India to take this step.

The state will also become the first state in India to enable students to study MBBS in Hindi. The Government has also decided to launch a veterinary telemedicine facility. These decisions were taken during the 2-day brainstorming session of the Madhya Pradesh cabinet.

Khush Khabari Hai: PV Sindhu wins Swiss open 2022 women’s singles title

India’s proud Shuttler PV Sindhu clinched the Swiss Open 2022 women’s singles crown at ST. Jakobshalle arena in Basel. She outplayed Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand by 21-16, 21-8in 49 minutes in the finals.

This is her 2nd Super-300 title of the year. She bagged Syed Modi international in January. HS Prannoy ended as a runner-up in the men’s singles category in the same tournament.

Khush Khabari Hai: India in SAFF under-18 women’s championship 

Scripting history India’s women’s football team clinched the champions of the SAFF under-18 women’s championship 2022 at the JRD Tata Sports Under-18 Women’s Championship 2022 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur. Against the opponent team, Bangladesh, India scored 13 goals over four matches.

Lynda Kom, with five goals in total, became the highest goal scorer. This was the first time India won the tournament, after finishing runner-up to Bangladesh at the last edition in 2021.
