Well, 2017 is expected bring a lot of events ahead. 2016 was an eventful year for the Indian auto industry, and now the carmakers are looking at 2017 with renewed optimism. So, here is the list of top five cars to watch out for in 2017.

2016 was an eventful year for the carmakers, but the carmakers also faced few humongous challenges like the ban on the diesel vehicles in capital, and the demonetization of old currency also came as big shock for them. Now, after hitting these speed bumps they are planning to bounce back in 2017.

Tata Hexa: People got Tata Hexa’s look in the Auto Expo 2016, which took place in February. It is highly anticipated that the auto major will launch Tata Hexa this month.

Specifications: Its looks will be aggressive, like the new grille, headlamps and large 18- inch wheels. And it would have the engine of 2.2 litre

Toyota Vios : The launch of this car is scheduled for the month of March. The car carries few styling cues from Toyota Etios and even from Corolla Altis.

Specifications: It is expected to offer petrol engine of 1.5 litre and diesel engine of 1.4 litre. The C- segment sedan is expected to cost between 8- 11 lakh making it a worthy opponent for Honda City.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS: Maruti Suzuki Baleno’s has a huge demand in the market that is why its launch date has been pushed to first half of 2017. As per report, it will be available in Nexa Outlets and it will cost around 9 lakh

Specifications : It will come with a 1.0 litre three cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 110 bhp and will produce 170 Nm torque which will make it Maruti’s most powerful hatchback ever

Honda City Facelift: Notably, Honda has already added Brio and Amaze facelift in its portfolio in the year 2016, and now it is all set to launch its city facelift in early 2017. It will be first launched in Thailand.

Specifications: It will have same characteristics as the current version –the 1.5 litre petrol engine that produces 119PS and churns out 145 Nm torque

Skoda Kodiaq : Skoda’s full size SUV- Kodiaq, is expected to be launched in the second half of the year. It will be available in both 5- seater and 7 –seater options.

Specifications :Skoda is likely to attach a premium price tag to Kodiaq. The price of the car is expected to be between 25- 30 Lakh
