The babies share beds with their mothers are more breastfed!

Pregnant women, who expressed a strong motivation to breastfeed were more likely to share a bed with their babies often finds a new study.

In addition, they were twice as likely to breastfeed for at least six months breastfeeding mothers started but not share the bed, according to the study.

The study, published in the journal Acta Paediatrica, focuses on the safety of babies during breastfeeding of tragedies such as the syndrome of sudden infant death.

Mothers need information on how to make bed sharing during breastfeeding as safe as possible, the researchers suggested.

The study questions whether the recommendations to avoid bed sharing because of concerns such as the syndrome of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

That may prevent some women achieve their breastfeeding goals and thereby could prevent women and their children to experience all the benefits in the short and long-term breastfeeding
