Sri-Lanka will host Indo-Pak series.

Sri-Lanka is all set to host a bilateral cricket series of India and Pakistan in December. These two teams last met at world cup earlier this year.

After the meeting of BCCI and PCB, BCCI made it clear that India will not play in United Arab Emirates and Pakistan cricket board is refusing to play in India, the only option left was the island nation which will act as neutral venue for both the team i.e. Sri-Lanka.

The stadiums where are embarked for the series are Khettarama and Pallekele. This historical series is containing 3 ODI’S and 2 T20 matches.

According to report, “Since PCB will need the permission of Nawaz Sharif before going official, Shaharyar Khan will need to go back to Islamabad and seek the prime minister permission. Once he gets the green light from the PM, he will again come back to Dubai and intimate his decision to Clarke. Clarke is likely to official announce the series on November 27”.
