It was an evening packed with hilarious dialogues, entertainment and wonderful conversation between the star cast of Uvaa and media.
Sangram Singh along with Mohit Bahgel,Yukti Kapoor, Poonam Pandey, Neha khan and the director Jasbir Bhatti addressed media at Spice cinemas, Noida to promote their upcoming flick Uvaa.
Sangram Singh
Uvaa is a story about five crazy friends, who are studying in a boarding and believe in enjoying every moment of life. And suddenly their lives take a turn due to an incident. That forces them to fight for social justice and set an example for others.
Sangram Singh, who is well known wrestler of India is all set to try his luck in Bollywood after leaving a mark on the television world. He was a part of hit shows like Big Boss, Sach ka Samna and many more.
Poonam Pandey
Talking about his character in the movie he said “I am playing the character of a tough coach, who scolds his students when they do something wrong, yet is always there to support them. The kind of discipline I maintain in my life helped me a lot to relate with my character” .
Jasbir Bhatti
The movie is based on a social issue and revolves around a rape victim. We asked the director, Jasbir Bhatti why he chose this topic for his movie? He said “I want to show a mirror to our society but at the same time I want to give out a message to our young generation too that all power lies in their hands. So, if they will unite for a good cause then things will really change in society”
Yukti Kapoor
Apart from the new faces, this movie also has veteran actors like Om Puri, Jimmy Shregill and Archana Puran Singh.
