PM inaugurates 46th Indian Labour Conference
46TH Indian Labour conference was inaugurated by PM, Narendra Modi in Delhi on July 20th.
During the inaugural session he said “it is important for Indian society to develop consciousness towards labour”.
The inaugural session also marked the launch of the National career service portal, and ESIC. Apart from him, prominent ministers like Arun Jaitley and Bandaru were present on the occasion.
PM called for giving importance to the innovation among labours. He said Labour Unions should join in the effort to innovation.
He even mentioned about some welfare initiatives of the government, such as raising minimum pension to RS. 1000.
